Workation

We aim to keep the financial side simple and fair while accommodating different needs and preferences.
Shared costs such as rooms, coworking space, and scooters will be pooled.
This results in approximately €60 per person per day during the workation period.

All bookings (accommodation, coworking, scooters, transfers) will be handled centrally by Yan.
This introduces some overhead related to taxes, currency exchange, payment fees, “baksheesh”, and occasional “Spielgeld” to manage shared expenses smoothly. To account for this, we apply an additional 5% overhead on the pooled costs.

The final price will depend on actual cost (made transparent in shared cryptpad). If actual shared costs turn out higher than estimated, we will ask for a contribution adjustment. If costs are lower, the surplus will be used for nice shared extras, such as event t-shirts, group meals, a closing celebration and/or useful community items.
